The traffic analysis for Mound Road will take place in three distinct phases: data collection, existing traffic analysis and future traffic analysis. The components that make up each of these three phases are listed below.

Data Collection

• Collect traffic data and non-motorized data
• Conduct field review
  • Vehicle travel time runs
  • Saturation flow rate
  • Queue lengths
  • Pedestrian activity

Existing Traffic Analysis

• Develop existing volumes
• Refine and populate existing Synchro model
• Develop and calibrate existing Vissim model
• Develop Vissim and Synchro calibration methodology section of traffic report

Future Traffic Analysis

• Develop 2050 Future No Build (FNB) volumes
• Develop FNB Synchro models
• Develop Alternatives
• Develop future (2050) Build volumes
• Modify FNB Synchro Models to develop spot improvements
• Develop and document preferred spot improvement recommendations to carry
• forward
• Modify FNB Vissim models to develop preferred corridor long recommendations
• and approved spot improvements
• Finalize traffic technical memorandum
